I guess you got a good settlement then, they are replacing the Crossfire with a John Deere tractor custom painted in graphite grey.

I'd never heard of them, but somehow my account got sold to them when they and Cotton States did some kind of merger/joint venture. All I know is, they have moved VERY fast and included my new tires in the offer and I am super satisfied.
I will NEVER change insurance companies. I totally trust them now. I just can't get over it, Dave. I expected all sorts of arguments and fights with them. Boy, was I wrong.

Stick around, she was going to the Spring Dragon with me until family issues rose up at the last minute.
I THINK the fall Dragon is it, tho. She was going to the Helen, GA meet this month but that's in limbo now.
I assure you all, THIS relationship (such as it is) won't result in marriage in a few months like the last time. I promised Kimpossible that I would not marry again without her meeting the lady and ruling as to the sanity of the relationship.

Truth is. There is a new lady in my life.

Hey Pizza, glad your happy with your insurance company. Go get your XF NOW! There are a few graphite XF's and even at least an SRT-6! No excuses, get on it! I fear (happily) that your going to be dumping a few dollars into a MOD or two. I see in your future a SRT-6 graphite rag top, don't make me a liar!

Totally with you there, Franc.
I am pretty sure the stick wins out... Graphite had a stick and I don't think I can do without it.
The parts car is in a salvage yard in Gainesville, GA. Technically, it's still my car since they haven't paid me yet, but I suspect that will be resolved this week.
I will pass on the yard's info real soon.

Re: Pizza's Epic Announcement
I am heading to Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen just a mile or so from this Hilton in Orlando in a few minutes - for dinner with some Florida XF's to mark my return to XF ownership.
Odd thing, I have had the funny thought for a few years that somehow, someday, for SOME reason, I'd own an SE Roadster. I know that sounds odd, but I've had a thing for the SE ever since I found out that they made this odd little variation of the Crossfire.
And now, I do.

Yes, Jody sold me this car. I am super thrilled.
And yes, I am back to a Red Roadster - I've come full circle - but THIS time, it has three pedals.
I"d forgotten how nice these cars are with low miles, the clutch is smooth, the doors are SOLID when you close them, the steering is tight, the suspension is sure...... It feels so good.

Weren't they also black like the windshield surround ?
That's the first thing I would do - silver windshield surround, looks SO MUCH better.
Second, fog lights.
Third, audio. ( but you already have that scoped out )
