Hi all, I’m new to the forum. I’m in the process of determining if I’m going to purchase a Crossfire. I gathered all the AllData TSB’s yesterday, so I figured I’d post them.

What is "AllData TSB's"?

 

All the data on the forum pertaining to 'Technical Service Bulletins'.

 

Per their web site "ALLDATA is the leading provider of electronic diagnostic and repair information and services for the automotive service industry."

I doubt their up to date on the Technical Service Bulletins (TSB).

Question... has anybody replaced their "Cupholder" with the storage been?? If so do you just bring that TSB to a service rep. and the have it done as long as the car is under warranty?? I have done that and the rep told that they wouldn't replace it for me because its not a safety recall? Do I have to just argue with the guy to get it done or is that correct??

 

The dealer will install a storage bin or a new cup holder (your choice) under warranty IF the cup holder is broken.

A TSB has nothing to do with a safety recall, it is as the name implies... a Technical Service Bulletin to help the
service department with an uncommon issue or pass on information they are having with a certain problem.
A TSB can range from something as simple as how to care for chrome wheels or how to fix a problem with a
transmission that is popping out of gear.

Several people have replaced the cup holder with the storage bin and have posted pictures. Here is one pic taken
from a post by Andrew...

 

Seems like the AllData site blocked direct access... Any one else having trouble? If its gone does any have an offline copy of these they can share with me? I wanted to print the applicable ones out and take it to the dealer for some warranty repair.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this TSB? My dealer is telling me it only regards replacement of a WORKING cup holder with a storage bin. However I remember skimming this when it was available online and I thought it clearly discussed a broken cup holder.

VQ35DE - Thanks for your help with this. Can't wait to print it out and take it in!! Do you know if there is a TSB for replacing a broken cup holder? I'd rather have a cup holder than the storage bin... but if all I can get is the storage bin, then i guess its better than a broken cup holder...

 

Personally I'd rather have ANYTHING but the cupholder...It's all but useless in a manual tranny car!

The only time I used it was with a cup of coffee from 7-11...The damn thing poked holes in the styrofoam cup!

 

The cup holder is still available, my car came without one and I purchased and installed it myself. It cost me $91 but it's well worth the radio taken a Coke bath.

 

Can't figure out how to download the TSB's. Any help finding the download button would be sincerely appreciated

 

Just copy and paste on to a word proceesor and then print it out plus then you have it your computer for future reference.

New to the site ... just bought a used 2006 Limited Roadster, 11,000 miles!

I was wondering where I can download all of the files/information for the TSB's? I'd like to read each one and see if anything pertains to my car in order to get the warranty work done!
