Best Tires I've ever had
Best Tires I've ever had
Ok so it was time for me to get some new tires and I headed down to my local tire shop. I kind of know the guy just from being in there many times when I had my wheels put on and he told me about the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's. He said he had alot of good feedback from previous customers, so I decided to give them a try. Now I know little to nothing about the lastest/best tires on the market, but after having a few days with these I would say they have to best some of the best out there. I used to be able to get a little sideways from a stop and making a turn, now the car just sticks and goes. And being in the rain is just like it being perfectly dry out. I also did some research on them and owners on other forums, (audi, dogde charger, bmw) to name a few, rave about them as well. I would highly recommend them to any owner here. They are priced fairly well too, I got 2 235/30 19 on the front, and 275/35 20 on the back installed balanced and everything for a little over 1000. Hope this helps anyone looking for new tires.

The rear wheels and tires actually ended being almost the same total height because of the smaller side wall on the bigger wheel. As far as the speedometer, I thought it was off but when I check it agianst my GPS is seems to be spot on. And I will try to get pictures up as soon as I can, but I'll tell you right now I think the wheel gap is too big and I'm going to lower it when I get a chance.

I found this on that link from TireByWeb. No rating listed for the Vredestein. The Toyo's look good too, and a much better price.

Re: Best Tires I've ever had
I was looking at these and the Nitto Invo's when I bought my last set in Oct.
I went with the Invo's since the local tire dealers said "Vredenwhats?".
$800 for all four, and they sound similar - super sticky and laugh at water.
They do really smooth out the ride, so make a great daily driver choice, but they do have a bit too much sidewall flex at high G's.
How do the Vredenstein sidewalls hold up when you really push it?
