Svengoolie's weekend adventure! August 30th & 31st, 2025
It was finally a great weekend weather wise. So we took Sven to the local Saturday cruise night at Diane's Dairy in Montville, NJ. Sunday we went on a 90 mile road trip from New Jersey into upstate New York and back.
Here are some pics from the weekend.
Part 2; Sunday, August 31, 2025. We went on a road trip with some friends. We met in Pompton Plains, New Jersey at the Stop & Shop. From there we drove up to Warwick, New York and stopped for breakfast at the "Country Dream" restaurant.
After breakfast we headed up to Sugarloaf (Chester) NY and checked out some of the places there. This one shop owner had a nice Morgan roadster outside of his store. I talked with him for a few minutes about his car and ours.
We left NY and headed back to NJ. We stopped at the Monksville Dam located in Wanaque, NJ. The dam was built by flooding a town. The buildings are still there under the water. Then we headed back home. The trip was about 85 - 90 miles driving on some great back roads!

The Coronets at the dam. My crossfire is on the other side and is so low that you can't see it.
It was funny when this Subway delivery car made a u-turn in the parking lot. The sign on the bear's back says "My neighbor hates my car! LOL
