Me, I speak neither Italian or Spanish.

However, we are raising our grandkids.

We call our arrangement "a spoiled single child."
Growing up is hard to do, especially when Grandma offers to step in and bail you out every time you fail.


Although personally it is a sad commentary as we are having this kind of trouble as are many around here (son doesn't contact, stationed overseas, has 2 kids, divorced (we don't even know it our son has contact with his ex, and we don't have any contact from his ex in Texas which means the grandkids may not even know of us). We did the best we could and still it seems this kind of behavior is typical of this generation? Yep, SAD world we are in nowadays...
