To prolong my tale of woe, the light came on again shortly after my last post as I predicted, tester showed three sensors dead again, today the light went out after 2 months of being on...haven't scanned the sensors. Kinda nixes the "dying batteries" notion.
I'm beginning to believe in gremlins. Instead of deactivating the system, I'll ignore the light, as I've been doing, and will inform any future potential buyer of the anomaly.
BTW, I have access to an OTC Genisys EVO scanner, anybody have any experience with those on TPMS problems?
A nice piece of electric tape should make that light go away.
