I just bought another 3-ton floor jack that will get the vehicle up about 26" from floor to frame. That will make life a whole lot easier form me moving around underneath working with tools etc. I have four 3-ton jack stands to get the front and rear up and secure. If I took my car to the Auto Hobby Shop on AF Base it would cost me about $60 stall rental with hydraulic lift. So for $45 more I bought a 3-ton jack instead that was on sale. Sooner or later all these noisy worn out parts are going to be fixed and then I can work on the big rust hole in the trunk! But I'm getting close! LoL. Still don't have a lot of money invested in the restoration but lots & lots & lots of labor time involved so it's a good thing I'm retired and can spend the time.
