Many Thanks.
Welcome to the forum!
I transported my Crossfire in 2024 from New Jersey to Ohio using a U-Haul trailer. They use over the tire straps and a front and rear safety chain. The over the tire straps have ratchets that will pull the tires up to the bar on the trailer, which holds the car in place. I put the front safety chain on the frame by the control arm. I put the rear chain over the rear stiffening brace bracket (Roadster only). I didn't have any trouble and every time I stopped I checked all of the straps and chains.
I was worried about the front facia hitting the trailer because of height, but that didn't happen. If you're worried about the clearance on the nose, you can take a couple of sections section of 2 X 8 and put them under the front tires. Just secure them to the trailer with carriage bolts.
