For those who like cycling- E-bikes
Just got into E-bikes.. Last Christmas we bought one for our 19 year old grandson living on our remote Ozark Property. The plan was for him to have a legal but useful method of driving to a local grocer some 6 miles away from the house on all dirt/gravel roads. It arrived and i assembled it ( 5 hours) and test drove it around the neighborhood.
It was so much fun to drive, more like an electric Mo-ped than a bicycle, that I fell in love and wanted one for myself. It came and I assembled it (3 hours this time) only to have the wife confiscate it for herself. So, we ordered another one.

.
This Mo-ped version reminded me of my 1970 Suzuki 185 "collegiant" that I drove 30 miles to work daily winter and summer when first married. Light weight and fun.
Yes, the E-bike brought healthful cycling back and my 15 speed racer has spent too much time in the garage of late. So now instead of wondering if the wife and I can go on biking trips, we are eagerly planning them with our neighbors who currently have E-bikes.
We are all in our 70's, so this is going to be great.
E-Bikes are still in gestation so from a technical and legal perspective, there is a lot of unknowns ahead. But also, a lot of fun.
