I get the feeling there will be very strict laws enacted soon for them in many states. I live in neighborhood that has around 90 houses and there is a group about 10 kids that fly around on them. Looks like a blast. You would not believe the amount of people complaining about it. They look at me like have two heads when I tell them they get out of road when a car comes by and I like to see the kids outside having fun. If our village had a police department, they would probably report them.
The kids around here are on e-scooters and not actual bikes. After school our street is covered with them and they are reckless. The problem is they don't obey traffic laws.

TWO) stop at stop signs, something every standard Bilke, normal or E-bike, is required to do.
THREE) obey speed limits. Something every standard Bilke, normal or E-bike, is also required to do.
