I am in Butler, retired and 74, I have a 2005 Roadster Limited w/ automatic ... I do have a spare (used) sensor for crank and cam that was working when I replaced them if you would like to try them. Sounds like maybe the sensor, the connector, or the wiring. If all else fails Ed's Car Care on north Clinton north side of Ft. Wayne is an independent shop and has a Mercedes tech on staff.
