This 6-year journey has been a fun one, and has opened the door to so many friendships and great conversations. Everything I set out to do with this car and more has been accomplished, and it is the direct inspiration for the next Crossfire project, which we hope is a running/driving car sometime later this year. A hearty "Thank You!", to all of you who followed, liked and commented on this thread! Follow the M156 Into a Crossfire thread for the next adventure!

Waiting to go to its new home, parked next to the Crossfire's eventual successor, the R190 AMG GT.

And away they go!

Neil, your sentence " A hearty "Thank You!", to all of you who followed, liked and commented on this thread! ", it was a HUGE pleasure reading your project Crossfire. I want to thank YOU! for the very well documented project here in the forum. Oh, and YES, I will follow your next project as well. I like to see the innards of anything and everything (with limits, of course). It has something to do with curiosity and facination. Awesome!
