I have added the picture that Valk has pointed out to the post for clarification.
I have those slots in the belly pan and I do have these tabs although these tabs do not hold when connect into the slots.
Like I said, in my 19 years with Crossfires I never had a belly pan connected where those slots are.
The belly pan is secure with the 3 front screws and the 2 rear screws and doesn't sag at all in the middle.
