First I would like to say thank you to all the contributors to this Sticky Key problem. Our 2005 roadster has started to exhibit this problem and want to address it before it gets worse. I have reviewed all the responses, watched the videos, and downloaded the step by step instructions with pictures. They are excellent. Before I get started, I just wanted to get clarification on two items to make sure I understand and know what to expect.

1) The steering wheel lock will still function properly after the fix.

2) As long as the lock is kept properly lubricated, the internals (tumblers, etc.) haven't shown a significant history of failure.
