Yup, I'm getting fed up with the XF and it's quirks. I was stopped at a corner red light, just waiting very patiently for traffic to clear. Down the road was a gold 3/4 ton silverado, It was far enough down the road to where I could blast out of the corner and quickly change lanes to get out of his way.
Well that plan didn't fall through the way I wanted it to, so I shifted into 1st and jabbed the throttle to the floor, then BAMMM it sounded like I broke an axle as the car vibrated violently. Freaking thing scared the **** out of me, and in the rear view I see this freight train of a truck baring down on me with horns blasting and headlights flashing. He must of been doing 50 mph and got that thing to stop with in 5 feet of my bumper, I quickly shifted into 2nd and stood on the throttle again to get the hell out of there.

This is probably the 7th or 8th time the tranny did this to me, but usually I would be at a stop light and as I would slowly accelerate with traffic,then, wham! there it goes again, backing up traffic while I get back in gear. I keep loosing 1st gear and it's making me stressed out, As John Wayne always said, " This is getting regodamndiculous!"

What's the deal with the rest of you guys, is this happening to you toot? I think we should file a lawsuit against DC, why can't I safely rely on my car to maneuver through traffic, without getting me killed, or is that what the side airbags are used for?
