Been there and done that... my transmission was replaced in Jan '04 before the syncro TSB came out.

Much has been written on the subject. It was a known issue with cars built on or before Dec 2003. The original fix was to have the transmission replaced. Since then they do some work on the syncros.

I can't believe you've waited this long to address the issue. I took my car in the first time it popped out of gear.

The TSB Number is: 2100204, dated 05-03-2004
