First "Issue"...and it's a Biggie!
Other than my own doing (backing into a rock), I've been so lucky with my car...not a problem or concern...however, I live in the Seattle area, and as the news has shown, we're getting drenched. I noticed my driver's seat seemed damp. The slacks I was wearing were also wet. I drove home today, and looked all over the inside of my top...no leaks...no water...tight as a drum...so, I moved my seat forward and brushed my hands behind and under the seat and carpeting...SOAKING! I actually had puddles formed under the seat and yet, the heater was running just fine! I cannot figure out how in the world the water is getting in. I did have my door sills installed by my dealer. They said bring it in asap. The traffic and weather is horrific, so I am going to wait until it dies down a bit and then I'm taking it in. Going out of town to Palm Springs for the weekend and leaving on Thursday...so, I'm okay without a car for a few days. Any ideas, suggestions...thoughts as to how water is getting to the carpeting? It's just the driver's side...not the passenger...all dry on that side of the car. Argh!!!
