I had a look at the car the other day while at the dealer. It's nothing like the concept car, the lines have been muted; nothing special going on in the interior, it doesn't look much different conceptually than the Chrysler LeBaron GTS I bought in 1985.
As for the hood, the visual impact it creates on the XF is super. A low wide car with a long hood (in respect to the overall size of the car), gives the hood grooves they're particular visual effect. This would seem to mean that it's becoming a bit of a signature on Chryslers? Where are these design teams getting their input from? I'm sure this will look great on the next gen Chrysler mini van.
