Well I'm picking up the car today, seems I will have to wait one friggin month just so the dealer can purchase the replacement syncros and tools to do the job, then another week to do the work. I don't understand why they won’t replace the entire transmission, this would save the dealer so much more money in labor, compared to fixing the bad tranny. so friggin dumb!

The thing I find to be total BS is that the syncros have absolutely nothing to do with 1st gear popping out of engagement, all the synchro does is get the gears up to speed for shifting, I feel I'm being lied to now, it's ridiculous.
they’re lucky I have another car to drive in the meantime otherwise I'll be waging war on them!
