Where's the noise?!? :shock: This thing has never been this quiet! Even with the radio off you only barely hear it deploy and retract. Wife went for a quick ride with me last night, she was reading the paper and didn't even notice it had gone up the first time. Then, myself, didn't hear it a few minutes later (after a quick stop for a burger), I notice my speed was pushing 60, check the rear view and the sneaky little bugger deployed and I didn't even hear it!

Its not silent, mind you, but tons better. Outside the car, stopped with the windows down and my head out the window it still makes plenty of noise. But, from the first day, it was loud enough to notice over the raido with the windows up tearing down the road.

Anyway, they simply opened up it, cleaned it, re-lubed and adjusted it. When my wife brought it in they had attempted to lub it without disassembling it.

Well worth (ahem) 'tooling' around in a Ford Van for a couple hours. (I tried not to even look close enough to tell the model, and washed my hands afterward) :roll:
