Noxls, be truly smart. 'fess up as soon as you see your parents. Even if
they've lost a bundle in Las Vegas, tell them immediately. It is likely that
the initial eruption will be bad, but probably not the last word either. To
be treated like an adult, one must act like one. That means taking your
licks when you have to, and not crying about it.
The adage, don't do the crime if you can't do the time, seems to make
some sense. But, we are only human, and prone to make mistakes. Those
who are forthright will have the opportunity to make more, while those
who lie and cover up will not.
