I had the exact same problem...with check engine light and code...it was a bad gasket on the pump...you could actually feel the air coming out of the pump. The pump was replaced at 4,500 miles under warranty. Easy and straight forward ...but they had to order the pump, which took about a week. This is the third occurrence of this that I have seen on this forum.
