Ya know, that's something I really haven't given any thought to. I'd say that would be a good question for one of the big name companies like Renntech, Kleeman or Evosport. As far as what they do to an ECU, I believe they do what they call remapping, changing timing curve, fuel octane, air fuel mixture and things like that. But I'm no expert on this type of technology, I'm a old school hot-rodder.
