Would a 285/40/19 fit or a 275/40/19, if it would what would be the best 40 or 35? If i do end up going with the bigger size tire in the back do i have to change the front tires to a wider size to?
By pushing the limit, I mean your tread of the tire should not be any wider than the outside width of the rim, it would cause your tires to wear in the center. The 285's were just a hair wider than the outside edge of the rim. As for how it drove, I really liked the F1's and I thought it handled great. The Good Year F1's in my opinion are probably the best tires on the market, but they are very expensive. But if I was going to go bigger, I'd go with 275/35's.
