Heres the deal people! I own the auto crossfire and my wife just bought the auto RX8. I havent drove the rx8 yet but what car do you think would come out on top racing wise? Read Below before responding:

350Z 6spd 287hp @ 6200 RPM
274lbs torque @ 4800 RPM
0-60mph in 5.4 sec

RX8 6spd 238hp @ 8500 RPM
159lbs torque @ 5500 RPM
0-60mph in 5.9 sec

The above info is just to show you how much power these rotary engines can produce, I didnt think they were that fast. Atleast from their specs, its kinda close to the 350Z even tho the Z has a big difference in hp and torque.Now view the important stuff below:

Crossfire Auto 215hp @ 5700 RPM
229lbs torque @ 3000 RPM
0-60mph in ????

RX8 Auto 197hp @ 7200 RPM
164lbs torque @ 5000 RPM
0-60mph in ????

Ok now the difference in the 350Z and Manual RX8 was 49hp and 115lbs of torque. Theres only a 18hp and 65 lbs of torque difference between the auto Crossfire and auto RX8! Now everyone be real and tell me which car would come up on top???? I own a auto Crossfire and the way it looks, the auto RX8 would beat me??? Speak your Mind
