Leafs in fan blower?
So I've been experiencing some vibrations/noises with my AC unit when its turned on to certain levels. I took it to my dealer to for a warranty repair. They claim that this is due to leafs in the fan blower, and that they would need to remove the blower and clean out the leafs….
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has knowledge of the issue? They said it would cost me $75 in labor to pull the blower, clean out the leafs and then replace it. For the time being I requested them NOT to perform the work.
I have a couple questions I was hoping to get some help with…
How hard is it to remove and clean the blower?
Is this something that can create “serious” problems?
Would leafs being “caught” in the fan blower cause a vibration noise/rattle from behind the glove box?
Should I try to do this myself or pay the $75?
Thanks for everyone’s help!!
