Like oil changes, I would change it sooner than recommended. the better you take care of the fluids the longer the engine/tranny will last
Honda's "weakest link" is their automatic transmissions. I changed the trans fluid in my daughters Civic every 20k. It's actually easier to do than the oil and filter.
If you drive your auto Crossfire relatively hard, I would definitely change it more often. If you plan on keeping your Crossfire for a long time, then maybe even every 30 or 40k. Think of it as cheap insurance.
