Didn't know where to post this or to title it.

If i buy a car from a private seller (2004 25k miles) can i go to the Chrysler Dealership and purchase an extended warrenty for the car? I called my nearest dealership and the guy gave me the Chrysler 1-800 number for custom service with questions like mine. I was kinda mad he didn't know the answer.

This is a key factor for me, if the answer is no then i have to buy from a dealership to get the extended warrenty.
