in order to re-attach the existing rubber weather stripping after the repair... i used an old credit card to assist with the tight fit in securing the rubber trim.
it requires the combo of the credit card & working the trim with your fingers while fitting it back in to the grove.
patience is a virtue.
a bondo application squeegee is a tad too large.
