I go to school in Malibu and live the rest of the time in San Diego, and I can tell you that Mercedes SL's are a dime a dozen. Nobody stares at them, nobody cares. The last gen ones especially. Not to say that they are bad cars, but they are not special. You think driving in a last gen SL feels like you are a star, you need to drive a Gallardo Spider and then tell me what a being a star feels like.
