g6 was a gift, we considered trading it for a 5 series, but it's paid off, and i decided to buy another motorcycle now, and get a camaro when they come out...i guess the 4th gen sl500's just look like fox body mustangs, and that doesn't impress me.
although it is my wife's car and i could careless about it, here is just an excerpt from wikipedia on the g6, "Within a year, this new car had become the 11th best selling car in the
United States (2005), and won several consumer-based industry awards from JD Power (APEAL), Strategic Vision ("Total Quality" and "Delight") and became a Consumer Reports Recommended Buy.
Car of the Year by the
Spanish magazine
Automundo[1][2]. GM leads all other automakers in Strategic Vision's Total Quality Index (TQI)".
