So after I tried to get my shifter off to see how hard it was and subsequently breaking a tab on the shift **** which meant the **** came off sometimes (you have to lift up and to the bottom left for those without a manual) when I went into reverse I finally got a new shift ****.
I got a different one than I originally wanted but the one I got was more expensive and the company gave it to me for the price of the originally ordered ****. So, I finally have a sturdy shifter that I don't need to worry about when trying to get into reverse. I got the boot to match so it just screwed right in.
