That depends on which chrysler your talking about. I think there have been about 4 different Chryslers in it's entire history.
I do know that the engineers at Chrysler did some marvelous creations back in the late 50s-60's, that far surpassed those of GM or Mercedes for that matter. But the bean counters really took all the creativity and quality out of they're sails, i.e using the cheapest quality sheet metal on their cars. Hence they had rust issues back in the day, so everyone would buy Chevy's and Fords for that extra thick gauge steel.
