Dump the brand!
i think when you are talking about "class" of car, you should look at the bottom line. the bottom line is the srt can not even come close to competing with others in their price range. like the real mercedes, or other $47,000 (srt roadster) price range cars. no retractable hard top available, the interior and extras are to be kind, quite pitiful. just look at the real mercedes, the custom looking curvature of the dash, the multi material look, the basic luxury options, trunk release, steering wheel audio controls, that lame ***. gps setup with discs, the srt could have been so much more for so little more attention to detail. it is as basic an interior and extras package car you will ever see in a 330 hp for $47,000. imho.

and no other class anywhere near the crossfire price range comes with a retractable hard top... extras? what extras do you need man? the sound system is decent, the gps is only favored by some... I could not care less if my car had it or not.. you are right though that the dash could of been a bit better, but it is a real mercedes dash compare it to the previous generation slk you will find that the difference is MINIMAL... (no dumb cup holder).

Now the smudge on watching nascar, I watch nascar, I also watch IRL, Champ, and Formula1. Nascar is a great sport and a different kind of racing compared to the other 3. All of which I enjoy. You may ask, how the hell do you watch that much racing. DVR. I absolutely love them. I can record them including F1 Qualifying and watch them in the morning before I go to work. By the way I don't remember who it was, but you ruined last weeks Grand Prix for me by not putting warning tags before announcing the winner of the Race.
