I debadged the "CROSSFIRE" name because of aesthetics not because I was embarrassed by it on the rear deck. I did the same with my Miata years ago. My SLK a few years ago. I view a lot of logos on small cars as too much manufacturer clutter.
I like my Crossfire. Its made in Germany By Karmann. Yes, that Karmann Ghia, Karmann. The high quality coach-builders who have built cars for Porsche, Mercedes and BMW (among others) for many years.
