i told budget the agreement provided in the documentation applied to the replacement car... 'NOT' the car involved in the accident that was provided via the dealer.
the budget rep then stated, that the police report shows i was the driver of the rental car... therefore i am the responsible party.
If this statement (made by the Budget rep) were true, I'd ask him just exactly where does it say (on your contract) that your responsibility for the rental car you were given is retroactive?
