I feel for those who paid retail. I was looking at an 05' a year ago and the dealer would not budge from $36K. I figured an 05' model in 06' was left over inventory and tried to work a deal. He just walked away and left me to look. Luckily I got real busy at work and did not have the time to shop around.

I purchased a new 06' limited two weeks ago for $24,800 and I may still have over-paid.

I love my Xfire but I don't think I would ever have bought one if the price stayed over 30K.

Chrysler marketing sure hosed this one up. They can never launch a similar type of car and expect top price.
