The Demon driving experience also applies to my friend's '74 Dodge Dart. He replaced his power steering with a manual one but the feel is still soft and wishy-washy. And stepping (or more like stomping) on the brakes eventually results in the car slowing down but I think that has more to do with your foot off the gas then the brakes themselves. But in spite of this, or maybe because of, it's a fun car to toot around in.
