Efficiency is low with those types though, as they generate tons of heat. Ever see Lightings run several 1/4 mile runs in a row? There's almost always going to be a bag or two of ice laying around, to lay on top of and chill the blower in between runs.
Kenne Bell offers the blowzilla supercharger (twin-screw) for the '03 Cobra and that thing absolutely screams... whine is an understatement.
This is true the '03 - '04 Cobra is an Eaton M112 I have a couple Buddy's back home that have them ooohhh I love the sound they make especially when they got a pulley pushing around 20 psi they are so loud. The Kenne Bell is not as loud as the Eaton the reason is less friction. The Eaton has lots of friction and tons of heat so when you switch to the Kenne Bell just running the same boost you have less knock retard, more horse power and less noise. I had a Grand Prix GTP it had an M90 on it I got it to be pretty loud I put a K&N cone filter on and it made a world of difference and also getting a smaller pulley will help a lot I ran 17.5 psi and it sounded a little louder than a cobra stock.
