The Renntech pulley's are VERY hard to differentiate from the stock pulleys, so I think you'd be okay. The IC pump failing doesn't even throw a CEL, just sometimes a quiet system code that says the intake temps were too high. Hopefully you have a knowledgeable local dealership who can listen and understand what the problem is and how to fix it. Otherwise, come to the Chicago suburbs and I'll fix the IC pump myself.
