Well not according to Road & Track magazine road tests.
The Crossfire Limited pulls higher g's on the skidpad, is quicker thru the slalom, has a 15 mph better top end, and runs the 1/4 mile a second faster than the Mini Cooper S.
Value? (What you get for the money you spent) is purely subjective.

Seating capacity? You win
Practicality? You win.
Cuteness? You win.
Beauty? We win.
Scarcity, unique? We win.
