I have Mini coopers. My Stock Mini Cooper S has and will out perform a Chrysler Crossfire in speed, track ability, value, and even Re-Sale...

The Mini Cooper S is a neat little boxy, sporty front wheel drive economy car.
It is pointless to compare it to a rear wheel drive, two seat, ultra slick true sports car like a Crossfire.
I've tried to learn to like sporty front wheel drive cars but I just can't. It's just not a rewarding true driver's car when you have to deal with torque steer, terminal understeer, front heavy weight distribution and having to use a car's brakes to get it to rotate around tight corners. Yea, I know, little front drivers can be plenty quick around tight auto-X tracks but, I'm sorry, they look so f-ing STUPID while they are doing it cornering on three wheels, the inside rear wheel up in the air like a dog taking a whiz...
Apples to Oranges...might as well compare your Mini to a Jap superbike that runs eleven second quarter mile times...
Slim

The Crossfire Limited pulls higher g's on the skidpad, is quicker thru the slalom, has a 15 mph better top end, and runs the 1/4 mile a second faster than the Mini Cooper S.
Value? (What you get for the money you spent) is purely subjective.
Resale? You win.
Gas mileage? You win.
Cup holders? You win.
Seating capacity? You win
Practicality? You win.
Cuteness? You win.
Beauty? We win.
Scarcity, unique? We win.
Having a 2 seat sports car? PRICELESS!

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so No you don't win.

If you don't believe how many g's a car pulls on a skid pad, or how fast a car runs a slalom course has anything to do with determining how well a car handles, then there is no use discussing this any further.
I wasn't knocking the MiniCooper, I actually think it's a pretty neat car. It's performance capabilities using a Turbocharged 4 cyl. are so frighteningly close to those of a Limited XF, that "seat-of-the-pants" measurements would never be able to tell a difference. That's why I had to resort to checking magazine road tests for the answer. On any given day, on a tight twisty track (where H.P. wouldn't be as much of a deciding factor) it would probably be a "drivers" race.
