I had two Corvettes and a Firebird and wouldn't give up my Crossfire for any other car. We went looking for a roadster this spring and always ended up coming back. We tried a Porsche, Mazda, Saturn Sky, and a Honda.

After watching this clip, it just confirms that when you don't like a something from the get go, you loose your objectivity. This guy could not find anything good to say about the Crossfire? I could see his disgust from the get go.

There are other reviews on that website where the testers like the CF.

And really, I mean why didn't that guy compare the CF with the minipooper?

What is it with this video, it keeps popping up on the forum every couple months. You guys keep obsessing over this guys remarks, I don't understand why all of you care so much about what other people say.

He is just one fugly anti-American who can't take up his rants on people (who might beat the sh*t out of him) and spit it right on cars instead!

 

Yep, he didn't come across as objective, instead you can see his hatred. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a dark alley.

 

In slight defense of the pompous British butt (and believe me I KNOW pompous British butts) that did the review, he was making a comparison of the car at 27,260 Pound Sterling. Ladies and Gents that $54,520 USD. Geez, I didn't even pay $27,000 US for my 2005 Ltd Roadster.

Hummm. Interesting analogy about the coupe's styling.

I haven't read the whole thread, so this may have been mentioned...

The guy who hated the crossfire also has a follow-up show where he gives it some praise.

There is a comparison between 3 cars... forget which they are, but an XF is one of them.

Overall the XF nudged the others out in 'overall' performance.

Do a search on the other episodes of that show.

 

I think it was the Xfire Limited Roadster vs. Audi TT Quattro Roadster vs. Nissan 350z Roadster.

 

first off, i'm not going to listen to information from a guy who can't even properly speak. it's a mazda, not a mASSda; and it's a celica not a selleeka. the crossfire is better than both anyway as far as performance is concerned and looks better in my opinion as well. after all, who partners/makes mazdas? ford. so it's up to you: ford vs. mercedes. as for the celica, my grandma's cadillac seville performs better.

after all, if your car isn't made in the uk or doesn't cost over $140,000, it's crap to this guy. what's funny is our "dogs," as he vividly described them in the video, can be transformed (with hard work and money) into cars that will outperform an aston martin vanquish (the uk's latest vehicular achievement) for half the price.

 

I thought the video was rather amusing.

Yeah, I find the whole center console & switchgear very chintzy. That guy is still a bloody ******, though.
