Less dense mean less oxygen in given volume, hence smaller bang in cylinder. The only function of the IC is to make the air denser after the SC. Due to the SRT-6 having additional programming in the ECU for the fuel air mixture/spark timing when the FAR (fuel air ratio) is out of range the ECU switches things off until the FAR gets back in range.

yea your right, nice to learn something new... but even if I knew exactly how it worked I probably would not explain it in such detail... either way what the IC pump will disable you from stable acceleration, but will not cause much engine damage...
