Is there a way to 'teach' the car to think your a Mad Max driver all the time and be able to drive like an old lady most of the time?

Basically I want to remove that lag as much as possible without dropping $1.5k.

I've done the history clearing and am driving aggressively for now. I'm wondering how long I need to do this before my car thinks I'm 17 instead of 70.
