Thanks to all for the advice. I have to admit, I'm a bit skeptical that this "Greek connector" is the way to get rid of the throttle lag - and it's a bit expensive.
I assume that this has to somehow "goose" the throttle on a pedal-down change event, causing the fuel-injection-equivalent of an accelerator pump to kick in, in order to get the thing moving. Currently, the throttle response reminds me of the laggy early turbos of the 80s - except there is no boost!!
But if you all have had good luck with this sprint booster, I'll be inclined to try it. I found it for $280 on ebay (some reseller in Hong Kong). Am I nuts to go this way?
