Yes I do need to take an ipod with me ... this is an issue when you are nipping out... but its no different to taking you house keys...
I just did the same thing, I got a 4gig nano and I really like the Ipod. It will change the way you buy and listen to music. I have had other mp3 players but Ipod is the way to go.
