I guess most of that depends upon what type of driving you do.

The general opinion here seems to be that for regular driving habits under regular driving condition, oil changes should be done every 5K miles.

If you drive in hot weather and is all city stop and go driving, or in very dusty conditions, you may want to change oil more often.

Mine is in the shop right now for the first oil change. I will let you know how it goes....
