First Service - Good Experience!
Had my first oil change today, and a few minor items looked at. Here is how it went.
When I arrived, we went over what was to be done.
1. First Oil/Filter change - provided free by dealer.
2. Reset TPM, since I have the summer tires/wheels installed
3. Check for wind noise
They had a loaner car (2004 PT Cruiser) there and ready for me.
I was called to tell me the car was done and ready to go.
When I came in, we went over everything.
I took the invoice over to the cashier. They charged me $0.00, which I was not expecting, since the TPM reset is due to my changeover. I went back to the service counter to thank them.
Just as I was leaving, the tech came out and said that he had forgotten to reset the FSS, and could I wait a minute while he got the instructions.
He got in the car to do the reset. It took a few tries, but he got it done.
He asked me if I wanted a copy of the instructions to do the FSS reset, which I gladly took. He then described what the display of 2 wrenches meant.
While I was there, one of the salesmen, who owns a red Crossfire came over to ask about the license plate frame and where he could get one. We swapped stories for a few minutes and I told him to be sure to check out this forum.
I drove back to work, and checked the oil. It is just a bit over the full mark. I will check it again tomorrw, but I don't expect there to be any problems, since the tech told me he put in 8.5 quarts.
I am really happy....
