Maxwell, nether one of the brake lines you pictured are D.O.T. approved. the only stainless steal brake lines that are legal for street use will have a plastic or nylon shield at the crimp portion of the fitting, the A N style are not legal for the street, i am not saying they are not as good or better i just wanted to let you guys know of the difference. And for HDDP i have gotten all my ss brake lines from a locale hose supplier, check your local phone book and look for a industrial hose distributor like parker or parflex you will probably get a better price than going through a auto part distributor. just my 2 cents.

actually I get great deals on Ebay motors for the AN brake lines. also Aerquip Parker are probably the main manufactures for earls, goodrige, and russel fittings too.
